THE kasbah :



 The fort was originally built in 1540 and was restored in 1752 . To this day a dutch inscription still adorns the  gateway stating "fear God and honour your king," da  ted back to 1746, The ramparts were partially restored after an earthquake destroyed it in 1960,but nothing remains within it . You can get there by car...............

JARDIN DE OLHAO : 


  Open 2:30-6:30 daily , this garden commerates the historical ties that Morocco and portugal have had. it is a wonderful place to go for a quick histtory lesson . it features a selection of beautiful plants and trees .

BIRDS VALLEY :


 it is a zoological park located in the heart of an old oued (river) there are mostly exotic birds,but also lamas, mouflons, and endangered species. In the center, aplaygroud is designed for children. it is open daily from 9:30to 12:30, from 14h30 to 18:30.

THE SOUK AL HAD:

 
 deprived of its ancient medina by the earthquake of 1960 , Agadir offers a more modern souk : Souk El had . Agadir souk is a festival of fruit , vegetables  and colors . You will also  see craft shops and stores ready-to-wear where to renew your dressing .

THE CITY MUSEUM :



The city of Agadir has a museumdedicated to the Amazigh heritage of the region of Sous-Massa Draa .It opened its doors February 29,2000 at the commemoration of the reconstruction of Agadir ; forty years after the earthquake .It presents a variety of berber jewellery from the South .

PORTS :



Agadir has 3 major ports; The Agadir marina is brand new ! It opened eariy 2007 .perfectly protected from winds and heavy waves .you may leave you yacht for several months knowing it will be secure . Surrounded by apartments in modern Moroccan style, with a swimming pool , restaurants ; the marina has all you need to enjoy your stay .

The fishing port where a fish auction takes place there every afternoon .
An mportant commercial port , with infrastructures conceived to lift boats , several shipyards ,sepecialized in maintenance of fishing and merchant vessels .

HORSE RIDING OR CAMEL TREKKING :



Everyday except Sunday, trek along the Souss River, suitable for beginners.
 Mint tea and pastries included on the Camel 
Riding, romantic excursion to Medina d'gadir via the national park where rare migrating birds can be seen.
